Public Communications is the time set aside during the Planning Commission meeting for members of the public to address the Planning Commission on items of City business other than scheduled agenda items. Matters raised at this time may be briefly discussed by the Commission and will generally be referred to staff and/or placed on a subsequent agenda. Under State law, other than for emergency items, no action can be taken at this meeting.

Planning Commission Approved Appeal with revised Conditions of Approval of Director Decision (MISC 26-016) | Regarding penalties imposed by the Community Development Director pursuant to Section 4-11.13 (Enforcement) of the City of Ojai Municipal Code, for violation related to removing a protected coast live oak without benefit of permit, located at 52 Krotona Street, aka 12401 N. Ventura Avenue within in the IR3 Zoning District. Assessor’s Parcel Number: 018-0-050-120. Representative/Arborist: Bill Mellett, Landscape and Design. Property Owner: Krotona Institute Theosophy. Appellant: Elena Dovalsantos
1. Open the public hearing, accept public testimony, and close the public hearing; and
2. Adopt Planning Commission Resolution approving the appeal with revised conditions of approval for Tree Permit (T 2107956), in accordance with Section 4-11.13 (Enforcement) of the Ojai Municipal Code.

Minor Conditional Use Permit (MCUP 26-002) – Regarding a request for modifications to existing conditions of approval to the previous Directors Exemption (DE 23-004) and Minor Conditional Use Permit (MCUP 23-001) for an outdoor dining facility, including Tivoli lights and on- and off-site sale and consumption of beer and wine (formerly Tipple & Ramble) for the established business ‘Ojai Roots’ located at 315 North Montgomery Street, Assessor’s Parcel Number 021-0-081-430. 1. Open the public hearing, accept public testimony, and close the public hearing; and
2. The existing General Plan Land Use Designation of the subject site is Public/Quasi-Public (P) and existing Zoning Classification of the subject site is Public, Quasi-Public (P-L).
